For this project, I took an article from the Smithsonian, entitled "The Long, Painful History of Police Brutality," and reinvisioned the interactivity it could be presented with. I laid out the entire article with data visualizations I designed and pictures I selected (most from the Chicago Tribune) and then animated different segments to demonstrate how the article would appear when a reader actually moved through it. I then created a document with instructions for the animations and visual elements that could be sent to a developer for the article to be published. Please scroll down to preview the animations, as well as see and read the article in whole.
